India needs people like E Sreedharan

Anyone who has seen Delhi for past few years will surely agree with the fact that Delhi has improved it's transportation infrastructure like never before, and Delhi's Capital Metro clearly stands out as the finest piece of work. With more than 5,00,000 commuters per day, Delhi Metro has taken a lot of heat off the overcrowded roads. Although each and every person associated with DMRC shall be given credit but in an army there is always one commander and for DMRC it is E Sreedharan. The man who has been serving the country for more than 40 years with only one motive - to improve the state of affairs in his country.
No wonder E Sreedharan has been chosen as CNN-IBN Indian of the year for the year 2007.
